Skilled Nursing

Loved ones and familiar surroundings often accelerate the healing process for the patient. Totality Home Health Care Agency, LLC’s goal is to bring the healing process home. Working with the patient’s physician, our skilled nurses can:

Aid in the recovery from surgery, illness or injury
Provide care for acute and long term conditions, as well as emotional support for the terminally ill
Monitor treatments and medications
Detect, and in many cases prevent complications
Educate and instruct patients and families about an illness, related treatment plans, medications and medical equipment
Provide appropriate referrals to community resources.

Rehabilitation Services

Recovery may mean rehabilitation. Using exercise, massage and other therapeutic approaches, our therapists work with those recuperating from illness or injury.

Physical Therapy

Our Physical Therapists design programs to help the patient gain mobility, strength, balance and coordination. To restore patient independence, they teach special techniques for walking, climbing stairs and moving safely within the home.

Occupational Therapy

Our Licensed Occupational Therapists design programs to help the patient improve their daily living skills. They focus on self-help and home making skills (meal preparation, eating, bathing, dressing) as well as home safety to maximize each patient’s ability for self care.

Speech Therapy

Our Licensed Speech Language Pathologists design programs to restore or improve communication skills resulting from an injury or stroke. Speech Language Pathologists also teach safe and appropriate swallowing and muscle control techniques for clients with swallowing disorders.

Home Health Aide

Under the supervision of Totality Home Health Care Agency, LLC Registered Nurses or Therapists, Home Health Aides help patients carry out daily living activities. They can assist with personal care (bathing, shampooing, shaving), meal preparation and light housekeeping, Totality Home Health Care Agency, LLC Home Health Care Aides have completed specialized training and have passed a competency evaluation. They can help with exercise routines and remind patients to take medication.

Social Work Services

Our Social Workers assess the social, psychological and emotional needs of those affected by acute and chronic illness. They provide counseling which addresses these needs. Each Social Worker is skilled at identifying community resources which may be of assistance to clients and their families.

Private Pay Nurses

Totality Home Health Care Agency, LLC offers inhome private pay nursing services to assist individuals with complex medical needs.

Private Pay Aides

Underthe supervisionofa TotalityHome Health Care Agency, LLC Registered Nurses, Private Pay Aides assist the patient in all daily living activities (personal hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping). They can provide medication reminders, safety monitoring and companionship for those who are temporarily or permanently home bound, Private Pay Aides have completed training and must pass a competency evaluation.

Behavioral Health Nurse

The THHCA Behavioral Health Program can help your loved one by treating the emotional and behavioral symptoms that often accompany physical illness. It’s been proven effective at: Increase patient compliance with treatment; Reduce hospitalizations; Improve the quality of life of both the patient and family members.

Our nurses, clinical specialists, and home health aides are trained to deal with any of your loved one’s behavioral and medical symptoms. They work in partnership with the patient’s primary doctor to deliver five interventions that improve patient outcomes: assessment, self-management techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, medication management, and community linkages.
